NIIK took part in IFA Annual conference in Sydney

The delegation from NIIK presented by President & CEO Mr Igor Esin, General Director Mr Oleg Kostin and Head of international Affairs Department Mrs Natalia Kargaeva took part in IFA Annual Conference sessions, organized by International Fertilizer Industry in Australia May 26-28. Australia being the only country that is also a whole continent is famous for its efficient agricultural production, soil fertility and mineral-rich areas.

The symposium replaced the yearly organized safety summit. Despite the traditional considering such events as devoted to fertilizer production sector, the scope of the symposium has become much wider now. It covers global aspects- population growth, increasing urbanization, food insecurity, conservative use of natural resources as well as Increasing efficiency of technologies used and improving efficiency of fertilizer application.

Deputy director for Design Olga Uriavina stressed that the conference was incredibly important for many reasons, first of all due to its busy program containing technical sessions with discussions on product updates and practical examples which provided us with the latest product information and applied practices.
JSC NIIK won a tender of JSC Grodno Azot requiring synthesis column modernization

Cooperation between JSC NIIK and JSC Grodno Azot has a long history. The first urea production plant was put into operation in 1965 and now there are three production plants with total capacity more than 3 thousand tons a day. NIIK is continuing to assist with corrosion inspections, modernization works resulting in increased capacity and supplying equipment.

NIIK delegation headed by Chairman of the Board Igor Esin attended conference and exhibition Nitrogen & Syngas 2014 that took place on 24-27 February in Paris, France.
As in last year Conference and Exhibition Nitrogen & Syngas 2014, presenting innovations, inventions and advanced experience in the nitrogen industry attracted many participants from all round the world. Traditionally many companies from Russia and CIS countries attended the Conference.
