Acron is installing urea solution production unit using NIIK technology 03/01/2018 The project for construction of urea solution unit with capacity 600 TPD at one of  the largest chemical plants in Russia is scheduled to be completed by summer 2018. NIIK obtained patents protection in Estonia (Patent № 05764) and Malaysia (№ MY-155469-A) 05/18/2016 Patent № 05764 is granted for the protection of a plant designed to produce   granulated product in a prilling tower equipped with remote fluidized bed cooler. The invention was already protected in Russia and Iran. Currently it passes examination stage in Ukraine, Romania, Egypt and India.

Authority design package developed by NIIK for PhosAgro- Cherepovets ammonia production unit (capacity 2200 TPD) was approved by GlavGosExpertise. 12/27/2014 NIIK is taking part in the construction project for a new ammonia plant in the Vologda region. The new line is expected to have an ammonia production capacity of 2,200 TPD, 760 ths TPY (Haldor Topsoe license). The order of NAK Azot was completed 11/20/2014 The design documentation for 32,5% urea solution and UAN production units was developed by NIIK for NAK Azot company (Novomoskovsk).

32,5% urea solution is an excellent system for the exhaust gas cleaning of diesel-engined vehicles. The unit with capacity 100 000TPY will be installed on the basis of urea plant 2 evaporation unit.

On December 7-9, 2011 the delegation from JSC NIIK took part in an Annual Seminar and Exhibition of Indian Fertilizer Association held in New-Delhi. 12/14/2011 More than 1500 participants attended this event. The majority of them being Indian fertilizers companies came to the seminar to exchange experiences with their colleagues. A very informative exhibition also took place as a good platform to display the development achievements and latest products of different equipment manufacturers and other companies, supporting the fertilizer production.

JSC «NIIK» signed a contract with TOO «KazAzot» for detailed engineering and complex delivery of two high speed drum granulators for ammonia nitrate production designed by JSC «NIIK». It shows that our technological developments continue 11/11/2011 High speed drum granulators (HSDG) designed by JSC «NIIK» will be installed at chemical complex «KazAzot» in Aktau. Their total capacity will be 500 t of ammonia nitrate per day.
On October, 24 Expocentre opened the 16th International Exhibition for the Chemical Science and Industry «KHIMIA-2011». 10/28/2011 The event has been extended to 27 of October and our Institute took an active part in its work.
This year the exhibition has brought together to Expocentre over 600 companies from 33 European countries. Approximately half of the exhibits were presented by Russian companies. Denis Manturov, Deputy Industry and Trade Minister emphasized that the significance of chemistry is rising year by year.

R&D Institute of Urea has completed an order on developing basic and detailed design of urea granulation unit for JSC «Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat» 05/06/2011 The licensor of this project is Toyo Engineering Corporation (Japan).
The contract was signed in April 2010 and the contract works were executed ahead of schedule – by September 24, 2010 instead of December 16, 2010. The documentation successfully underwent expert review in the Main State Expertise Commitee (Moscow) and was submitted to the Customer.
On April 12, 2011 R&D Institute of Urea and Sojitz (Japan) signed a contract on designing of facilities for urea production unit in Mendeleevsk (Tatarstan Republic, Russia) 04/29/2011 This contract named «Design office NIIK-2» launched long-term collaboration and it is a part of the largest industrial complex construction Ammonia-Methanol-Urea. The total budget of the project exceeds 1,5 billion USD.
R&D Institute of Urea is a general contractor for designing and construction of utilities and storage units within project office «Design office NIIK-3».

The production plant “Korund-Cyan” is going through the next construction stage 04/18/2011 R&D Institute of Urea is the general designer for civil works of this project. The contract was signed in May 2010 and the first drawings were issued already in September.

R&D Institute of Urea shared its experience at a workshop held in Oman 01/12/2011 In December 18-22, 2010 specialists of R&D Institute of Urea took part in a technical workshop organized by FAI (Fertilizer Association of India) in Muscat, Oman. For the first time the workshop was arranged beyond India and was held in collaboration with OMIFCO production plant (Oman). This event gathered representatives of more than 30 various companies both - fertilizer producers and engineering companies.
