JSC NIIK has a certified laboratory of non-destructive testing, diagnostics, metals, corrosion and welding. Based on many years of unique experience, the laboratory specialists perform technical diagnostics of key equipment of urea plants and other plants of the nitrogen complex, as well as technical assistance, guidance and supervision during performance of running repairs and overhaul of equipment.

Turnkey equipment repairs

Technical inspections are performed by certified specialists of JSC NIIK with high qualification and many years of work on all the main methods of non-destructive testing.

Corrosion checkup of equipment is performed during inspection in order to reveal corrosion causes and eliminate them. As per the inspection results, the analysis of equipment is performed, followed by issuing recommendations and solutions to increase reliability and efficiency of equipment operation.

Also the laboratory of non-destructive testing deals with comprehensive study of corrosion resistance of materials and their weld joints in the conditions of urea plants, issues input data for structural materials during the design stage.

Turnkey technical inspections

Performance of turnkey corrosion inspections allows to significantly reduce the calendar periods of inspections, repairs of the revealed defects and to ensure the high quality of works confirmed by exceptionally positive feedback from customers.

Turnkey inspections can include the following works:

dismounting/installation of piping, manhole covers, internals;
performance of the complete complex of works on technical inspection of equipment;
elimination (repairs) of defects revealed during the inspection;
quality control of the performed repairs using non-destructive testing methods.
