NIIK is taking part in the construction project for a new ammonia plant in the Vologda region. The new line is expected to have an ammonia production capacity of 2,200 TPD, 760 ths TPY (Haldor Topsoe license). The project is being realized by PhosAgro- Cherepovets company which signed a contract with an international consortium led by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

NIIK delegation (Deputy General Director for R&D Nikolay Lobanov, Head of corrosion, welding and diagnostics department Alexander Chirkov, Group Head of Process Department Alexander Vorobjev and International Affairs Manager Alexey Andreev) attended FAI Annual Seminar 2013 organized by Indian Fertilizers Association (FAI). The Seminar was held on December 10-12 2014 in New Delhi, India.
In November, 17-19, delegation of NIIK took part in 2013 Nitrogen & Syngas Asia Conference which was organized in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The design documentation for 32,5% urea solution and UAN production units was developed by NIIK for NAK Azot company (Novomoskovsk).
32,5% urea solution is an excellent system for the exhaust gas cleaning of diesel-engined vehicles. The unit with capacity 100 000TPY will be installed on the basis of urea plant 2 evaporation unit.
