This year the Conference was devoted to the various methods for efficiency improvement of existing fertilizer plants. The delegates from Middle East countries, Europe, Asia and USA shared their experience in the implementation of energy-saving technologies, mathematical modeling and modernization of fertilizer plants in compliance with up-to-date requirements for efficiency and safety not only for economic purposes but also considering the minimization of environmental impacts.
Inasmuch as NIIK has been working over a number of years for enhancement of Automatic control systems in various fertilizer plants, our representatives had a good opportunity to discuss with the esteemed conference participants possible solutions in this field. It stands to reason that NIIK’s paper “Enhancement of Urea Production Efficiency via the Improvement of Existing Automatic Control Systems” attracted considerable interest of the delegates. After the paper some urea and ammonia manufacturers proposed to continue the cooperation with NIIK in the sphere of ACS development.
It should be also emphasized that the paper presentation was not the only reason for NIIK to take part in the Conference. Of course, this event is traditionally a high-level platform for business communication and exchange. At the conference NIIK team held many meetings with urea manufacturers from Egypt, UAE and Jordan. We hope that the reached agreements will become a strong basis for further cooperation with our partners.
NIIK delegation attended the 28th AFA Int’l. Fertilizer Technology Conference & Exhibition held on June, 7 – 9, in Jordan, Amman.
