On December 2-4th, 2019, NIIK’s delegation took part in the Fertilizer Association India Annual seminar 2019 in New Delhi, India
FAI seminar traditionally is the main event of the year for the whole fertilizer industry of India. This time the event was attended by more than 1200 participants from 25 countries of Southern Asia, Middle East, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia.

The event attracted more than 100 technical and safety experts from NA and AN chemical industries worldwide.

JSC NIIK is currently participating in the project for construction of a new urea plant with capacity 1,500 tpd at PJSC KuibyshevAzot site.
Our company has been working with PJSC KuibyshevAzot for decades in terms of construction and revamping of urea and other chemical products plants. 1500 tpd urea plant is a new milestone in JSC NIIK and PJSC KuibyshevAzot cooperation.

NIIK delegation presented by company's President&CEO Mr Igor Esin and Head of International Affairs department Mrs Natalia Kargaeva attended 2019 IFA conference held on June 10-13 in Montreal (Canada).
The major event of the conference has become a retirement of Michel Prud’homme, IFA’s Sr Director for Production&International Trade, excellent analytic and the author of annual reports on fertilizer global supply.

April, 11 NIIK and CHINA NATIONAL CHEMICAL ENGINEERING CO Ltd (CNCEC) signed a contract for the execution of the engineering works for ammonia-urea complex for Shchekinoazot
The Chinese company turned toward NIIK's experience for adaptation of project solutions to Russian norms and regulations and development of a relevant engineering package in compliance with environmental and state expertise requirements.

At the beginning of April 2019 NIIK and Novgorodsky GIAP have signed a contract on modernization of the sixth urea unit at Acron site (Veliky Novgorod, Russia) aimed at increasing capacity to 2050 TPD.

From 4th to 7th March 2019 NIIK’s representatives took part in a highly reputed technical conference and exhibition in the field of nitrogen fertilizers and syngas production “Nitrogen & Syngas 2019” hosted in Berlin, Germany.

Russian engineering company NIIK (R&D Institute of Urea) has successfully completed relining of urea synthesis reactor in Hungary
Between October and December 2018, NIIK’s specialists performed repair works for relining of Urea Synthesis Reactor R202 at Nitrogénművek Zrt. Urea Production Plant (Pétfürdő, Hungary).

NIIK will design methanol production for Nizhnekamskneftekhim company
January 14, 2019 Nizhnekamskneftekhim and NIIK have signed the contract for developing authority package и detailed design documentation for a new methanol unit with a capacity of 500000 tons per year. The signing ceremony took place in TAIF headquarter.

Success of NIIK’s technologies in India – a feather in our cap
On December 24th, 2018, NIIK has successfully completed a contract with Indian company Rashtriya Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (RCF). Three Sets of Internal Devices by NIIK (Vortex Mixers and Conversion Boosters) were installed into urea synthesis reactors at RCF Thal in Alibag, Maharashtra state.
