On June 15-19, 2015 NIIK delegation consisting of President Igor Esin, General Director Oleg Kostin, Dy. General Director for R&D Nikolay Lobanov, Dy. Technical Director for Engineering Olga Yryavina, Head of International Affairs Department Natalia Kargaeva, Head of Project Coordination Department Irina Kostina and International Affairs Manager Alexey Andreev attended world’s largest chemical industry expo ACHEMA 2015 held once in 3 three years in Frankfurt, Germany. NIIK was one of the seven Russian companies presented its exhibition stands. For 5 days 3 813 exhibitors and 166 000 visitors attended the exhibition, which ranks the expo among the most attended events in Europe. 

At the expo NIIK presented primarily its engineering services. With vast experience achieved in cooperation with foreign contractors and technology suppliers for large projects in Russia, NIIK has become a widely recognized expert in the field of project and post project engineering. Adaptation of the design documentation to the Russian codes and standards, detailed enginneering, packaged delivery of equipment, technical consulting are considered to be the most perspective ways of cooperation with foreign technology licensors. At the exhibition NIIK conducted numerous meetings with technology providers, equipment suppliers, contractors and discussed cooperation perspectives for new projects in Russia. 

NIIK concepts and technologies for urea plants also raised much interest of the exhibition visitors. Production of compound fertilizers in High Speed Drum Granulator, modernization of urea plants with installation of the Internal Devices, production technology of 32,5 % urea solution (analogue of Adblue) were the most asked technologies at the expo. 

The words largest manufacturers and equipment suppliers for chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and consumer goods industry presented its products at the expo. NIIK team had a chance to get acquainted with the latest achievements and development in the chemical industry and enlarge its supplier database with new names.
