Positive decision of GlavGosExpertise was got for ammonia methanol and urea complex at Mendeleevsk (Tatarstan) May 22, 2015
The first positive conclusion from GlavGosExpertise was obtained in 2009 with regard to design solutions adopted at the stage of project documentation development. NIIK got the construction permit and proceeded with construction. The need to undergo re-approval procedure was caused by modification in the legal and regulatory environment and significant changes in the project design documentation.By the beginning of 2015 the complex was nearly built (commissioning activities are in progress), thus in fact the detail design was reviewed by GlavGosExpertise to get the second approval.
The further challenge was posed by the fact that four engineering companies were engaged into the project at the initial stage and the final step requiring integrating of all the documents was performed only by NIIK.
Positive approval takes into account all new legislative requirements. We can confidently say that fertilizer complex together with all facilities is legalized.
NIIK takes pride in being a part of this project applying only best international practices and implementing innovative technologies.
