JSC NIIK has developed a urea granulation unit with a capacity of up to 3000 MTPD - a new technological standard for the Russian Federation. Fluidized bed granulation process ensures formation of granules with a dimeter of more than 3 mm having optimal agrotechnical characteristics.
The granules are characterized by a high strength – minimum 2.5 kgf for crushing strength – and a resistance to mechanical impacts during handling, transportation and storage by preserving the quality throughout the entire logistic chain.
In order to decrease environmental impact, the used air is purified using acid scrubbing, thus ensuring compliance with strict norms of ammonia and urea dust emissions.
The process’s features are performance flexibility, high reliability and environmental safety. JSC NIIK’s competences embrace the entire implementation cycle from concept elaboration and engineering to commissioning of the plant by ensuring technological consistency and solution efficiency.
