At the end of May\ beginning of June the specialists of JSC NIIK took part in an organization and development of urea prilling tower project for a new urea production plant with capacity 1500 mt per day at a Cherepovetsky Azot site.

Delegates from R&D Institute of Urea participate in various international and regional conferences to promote services and products that help fertilizer producers to achieve maximum performance and reliability of urea plants. “29th Water treatment conference” organized by Abu Qir Fertilizers Co. and held this year on May 15-18 in Alexandria is a major event for Middle East fertilizer industry. It is dedicated to finding solutions for water scarcity in the region and zero liquid discharge from fertilizer plants.
On 3-4 April 2012, the delegation from JSC NIIK took part in a two-day IFA Regional Conference in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

On March 31, Acron (Veliky Novgorod) launched a new urea facility unit. The ceremony was attended by acting Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, Novgorod Region Governor Sergey Mitin, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Acron top executives.
