The conference was organized by International Fertilizer Association Committee and the main objective was the meeting of task forces debating key issues and strategies relevant for fertilizer industry. NIIK company being involved into the task group responsible for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) shares and keeps the regional statistics regularly updated thereby contributing to complete the picture of nitrogen fertilizer market in former Soviet Union and in the world.
In the course of the meeting the sides discussed successful initiatives and promising ideas on ammonia, urea and methanol projects. It was also agreed to include into the general list of projects the projects on NPK, nitric acid and ammonium nitrate.
The draft report on extending existing capacities and related prospects will be presented in 2017 IFA 85th Annual Conference 22-24 May in Marrakech, Morocco.
The event was marked by a number of interesting reports such as Fertecon’s ammonia market outlook, Integer Research’s global sulphur outlook, Raiffeisenbank’ s information on fertilizer project financing. Global challenges, trends and insights into key regional fertilizer markets on Europe, Asia, Africa and USA were traditionally presented during the event.
Providing an amazing amount of information the conference suggested new ideas and mapped new milestones relating to nitrogen market development.
