Expanding Opportunities for Cooperation in International Markets: NIIK Became a Member of AFA (Arab Fertilizer Association)

AFA, operating under the aegis of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, unites key players in the global fertilizer production and supply chain — 180 companies from 29 countries worldwide. The Arab region, including products from AFA member countries, accounts for about 68% of global production and 50% of global trade of triple superphosphate, 37% of diammonium phosphate production, around 70% of global trade in phosphate rock concentrate, and 41% of global trade in urea.

For over 10 years, NIIK actively participated in AFA’s work by presenting reports at meetings and taking part in committees and working groups. Now, as the cooperation and integration in the global mineral fertilizer industry reassures, NIIK has restored its status in AFA and is ready for new joint projects and opportunities!

Oleg Drobotushchenko, CEO NIIK: "Participation in the international association ensures the development of business and cooperative ties, cooperation with other market participants and partners from different countries, opening new opportunities for our projects. Associations provide companies with the opportunity to exchange valuable experience and promote their own technologies through international conferences. Today, NIIK holds the status of an equal partner in the mineral fertilizer industry, owning proprietary technologies for urea and methanol production, as well as methodologies for equipment diagnostics and repair. Over 70 years of engineering experience serve as a hallmark of reliability for clients and partners, including foreign ones. In the rapidly changing technological and market conditions, all this contributes to attracting new clients and investments for the development of the industry."
