On December 17-18, NIIK held training sessions for employees on the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard (GOST R ISO 9001-2015). Two groups participated: managers of key business processes and internal auditors.
Elena Klyueva, Head of the Quality Management Service “To confirm the effectiveness of the quality management system, the organization must conduct periodic internal audits. The internal audit is primarily aimed at identifying discrepancies between the company’s quality management system and the ISO 9001:2015 standard, so that these shortcomings can become opportunities for the organization’s growth."
Therefore, auditors should be seen as valuable assistants who can take a fresh look at established processes and identify areas for improvement. By effectively using the information gained during audits, potential problems can be addressed, or existing ones dealt with in a timely manner.
Today, NIIK has formed a professional team of 11 people who will conduct internal QMS audits.
Igor Trofimov, Lead Engineer at NKO: “I responded to the offer to become an internal auditor because I have experience in this field. In my previous job, I conducted audits of energy resource consumption at enterprises. During the training, I became thoroughly familiar with the NIIK QMS documentation and how it is managed in our company. I’m now ready for the work. I believe that quality is a characteristic of our interactions, and it is within our power to make it effective.”
Fifteen managers of key business processes at NIIK completed the training. This year, major changes were made to the procurement department's activities, which required adjustments to the QMS processes.
Konstantin Mudretsov, Chief Procurement Officer: “The quality system must be maintained in working condition and must continuously improve. Just before the training, we developed and signed the Supplier Audit Regulations and the Procurement Activities Organization Regulations. During the training, we confirmed that we are on the right track and that our internal documents fully align with trends adopted by leading companies. Our main goal is to automate all processes as much as possible, so that everyone knows what and when to do, and the organization functions as a single system.”
Ultimately, the success of NIIK in the service market depends on the quality of all internal processes. The drive for automation and adherence to modern standards will not only strengthen the company’s position but also make interactions with customers more effective and satisfying their needs. A quality system based on a team of professionals and continuous learning is the key to success and the foundation for future achievements at NIIK.

A QMS is a system of business processes based on a management model focused on the quality of the organization’s products or services. The more employees who are knowledgeable about the fundamentals of QMS, the more effectively quality management for products and services is implemented. On December 17-18, NIIK held training sessions for employees on the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard (GOST R ISO 9001-2015).
