JSC NIIK carried out equipment technical diagnostics at JSC Apatit
On June 8-20, employees of JSC NIIK Laboratory No. 8 carried out technical diagnostics by eddy current method for heat exchange equipment in the first section of the Urea Unit at JSC Apatit in Cherepovets.The work was carried out in accordance with the plant scheduled shutdown. The inspected equipment is the most important in the process train of urea unit, that is why JSC Apatit entrusts every year this work to NIIK's employees of laboratory No. 8 who have proved to be the most responsible and skilled specialists.
- Urea Unit management practically always requests us to carry out the inspection faster than the pre-agreed schedule, and the specialists of laboratory No. 8 meet this request. The goal is achieved by organizing night shifts not anticipated in advance, and rotating crews, and due to these reasons the task was accomplished in the shortest possible time,” said Mr. Alexey Tuzov, Head of Laboratory No. 8.
