JSC NIIK concluded a contract with JSC Farg'onaazot for BEP-package development for Urea Plant revamp in Uzbekistan
In accordance with the contract, NIIK will develop the BEP-package for Urea Plant revamp with capacity increase up to 1500 TPD. Documentation will be developed in two versions - with and without possible integration into Melamine Plant.Successful implementation of this project will contribute not only to increasing the production capacity of JSC Farg'onaazot (part of Indorama Corporation Pte. Ltd), but also to strengthening Uzbekistan's position in the global fertilizer market. This will increase the efficiency of local resources utilization and reduce dependence on imports, which is especially important for the country's agricultural sector.
Being one of the largest international producers of mineral fertilizers, Indorama Corporation Pte. Ltd. continues technical revamp in accordance with the modernization card developed for the existing plant.
Improved ecological performance for Urea production process will create new opportunities for stable development of the region. Reduced energy consumption and implementation of digital technologies will have a positive impact on capacity, optimizing management processes and minimizing costs.

JSC Farg'onaazot is one of the leading producers of mineral nitrogen fertilizers, defoliants and cellulose acetates in Uzbekistan. Total production capacity of fertilizers is 2.8 million TPY.
