New General Director of JSC NIIK appointed
Since the 27th of October 2023, Mr. Oleg Viktorovich Drobotushchenko has been appointed as General Director of JSC NIIK.His entire career is dedicated to design engineering, project management and project organizations in the mineral fertilizers and general chemistry industry.
He graduated from Donetsk State Technical University (diploma with honors). Until 2007 he worked in the engineering and design institute “Stirolinzhproekt” where he rose through the ranks from an ordinary engineer to the deputy director of the company.
For more than 10 years, he headed JSC Tulagiprokhim (design institute - subsidiary affiliate of JSC MCC EuroChem). Under his leadership, more than 300 projects were implemented in the nitrogen, phosphate, and sulfur segments of the mineral fertilizer market. During this work, initial permitting documentation, Project and Detailed Design documentation for construction were developed, State Expertise approvals were obtained and interaction with foreign licensors was carried out.
Prior to joining NIIK, Mr. Oleg Drobotushchenko was General Director of LLC Yugterminalproekt (design institute - general designer for facilities of OTEKO Group).
- Projects totaling about 3 trillion rubles have been announced to be implemented in the gas chemical industry until 2030, including an annual average of 600 billion rubles for the period of 2024-2027, - said Mr. Oleg Drobotushchenko. - It includes complex and separate ammonia and urea plants, methanol, nitric acid and ammonium nitrate plants, as well as other gas chemical complexes.
