The business program reflected the competencies of NIIK and the conference partners: NIUIF (part of PhosAgro), TopTech, GARANT, Himpromproekt, as well as Chemequip and EXP - industrial equipment suppliers in production of urea, methanol, melamine, ammonia, hydrogen, phosphoric and sulphuric acids and other chemical products.
Mr. Mikhail Yurin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, made a welcoming speech. He noted that in the current conditions the Russian industry shall rely on more complicated production areas of gas chemical products, and the companies-participants of the conference are already making their best efforts and actively working in this direction.
According to the speakers, , three out of four licensors of urea production technologies are located in countries unfriendly to Russia and are currently unavailable for world-wide use. URECON urea production technology developed by NIIK is already well known and proven in our country, and it is not even equal to, but significantly better than western analogues in some parameters.

From the 23rd to the 26th of April, Nizhny Novgorod hosted an event aimed at developing the fertilizer industry.
