NIIK engineers completed corrosion inspection of high-pressure equipment for urea production in Algeria. Urea production with a design capacity of 3450 tons per day has been operating since 2013.
In June, at the Azot branch of UCC Uralchem in Berezniki, specialists from NIIK carried out the first stage of technical re-equipment of the urea synthesis column pos. R-901.
At JSC "GrodnoAzot", the R-201 reactor of the Urea-4 workshop was repaired.
Works on diagnostics and repair of technological equipment using unique NIIK techniques are constantly in demand. The company serves about 10 plants annually.

In the urea production shop at JSC Nevinnomysskiy Azot, NIIK specialists cleaned the heat exchange tubes of the recirculation heaters of the distillation column from internal deposits. The thermo-pneumo-abrasive method was used for cleaning. This is a unique technique that effectively removes even tough, stubborn deposits from the inner surface of the heat-exchange tubes. In the Russian Federation, only NIIK specialists use this cleaning method.
