A special relevance acquire NIIK technologies aimed at improving the work of urea synthesis unit
NIIK team headed by President and CEO Igor Esin attended FAI Annual Seminar 2016 held on November 30 - December 2, 2016 in New Delhi, India.The theme of 2016 Annual Seminar "Make in India?" touched upon a very important issue which would determine future development of the nitrogen industry in the country – increase import or expand domestic production. According to the energy efficiency enhancement program initiated by the Indian government in 2015, all urea manufacturers shall achieve individual energy efficiency targets by 2018. In view of this program, NIIK technologies for urea synthesis efficiency improvement like Internal Devices have become very opportune. Low capital costs, short erection time and high efficiency make Internal Devices one of the best solutions for urea plant modernization.
At the Seminar, NIIK team held many meetings with urea manufacturers. Many companies were interested not only in urea synthesis efficiency enhancement technologies but also in our revamping solutions for prilling towers with product quality improvement. At the meeting with Indian partners, NIIK discussed a business development strategy. During the Seminar, NIIK met Trade Mission of Russian Federation in India to discuss promotion of our technologies and services. Cooperation for urea plant revamping projects was discussed with a large EPC contractor.
