From 19 to 23 September 2016 delegation from NIIK represented by Afanasieva Elena, Deputy Director of Moscow Design & Engineering office and Natalia Kargaeva, Head of International Affairs Department took part in international conference for professionals working in Ammonium Nitrate and Nitric Acid industries (AN-NA conference), held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. There was presented NIIK’s new office responsible for Ammonium Nitrate and Nitric Acid projects focused on detailed design and project documentation development, foreign licensors documentation adaptation and equipment procurement.
Production of nitric acid and ammonium nitrate is becoming more and more popular due to drop of urea price. Start-up activities for a number of projects has already been planned for 2017. NIIK currently working with foreign licensors on ammonia, urea and melamine projects is ready to share its experience on nitric acid and ammonium nitrate. The discussions with world's largest licensors, equipment manufacturers and mineral fertilizers producers resulted in some preliminary agreements and meetings tentatively scheduled in Moscow.
