NIIK delegation presented by Head of Group for New Technologies Alexander Vorobev and International Affairs Manager Alexey Andreev attended 2015 FAI Technical Conference on Fertilizer Technology held on April 23-24, 2015 in New Delhi, India.
At the session devoted to reliability improvement of fertilizer plants Alexey Andreev presented a paper”Improving efficiency of existing prilling towers with NIIK technology”. The paper attracted considerable interest of the delegates as many urea manufacturers in India are facing problems of prill temperature after the prilling tower in the hot season and quality of ready product. After the paper, the delegates addressed questions to the speaker regarding efficiency of different types of vibrating prillers, its maintenance frequency and its impact on quality enhancement of ready product. Such urea technology suppliers like Stamicarbon and Casale Group also presented their papers at the session.At the conference NIIK team held many meetings with urea manufacturers. Many companies were interested in NIIK technologies and solutions aimed at enhancement of efficiency and reduction of utility consumption at urea plants.
