GPCA (Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association) was founded in 2006 by SABIC, Tasnee, Qapco, QVC, Borouge, GPIC, PIC, and Equate companies as a trading company with an aim of improving commercial relations between organizations of Gulf countries. Together with independent business analysis and consultancy group CRU, acting as an organizer of world leading events such as Nitrogen&Syngas, Sulphur, Phosphates conferences, GPCA has also arranged annual chemical and petrochemical Conference and then the first Convention-2010 of series of annual fertilizer conventions, providing the opportunity to meet and become acquainted with different fertilizer producers, trade and engineering companies, working in the Gulf region.

Delegation from JSC NIIK took part in the event for the second time. Last year the Convention was organized in Doha, Katar, this year it took place in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

Fertilizer Convention welcomed more than 300 delegates from all over the world (Gulf countries, North Africa, India, countries of European community, Russia, USA). Convention reports referred to the subjects of Gulf region and other regions development strategies, summarizing development progress and predicting the potential in the field of fertilizer types application and their production techniques.

In the award ceremony outstanding fertilizer producers have been awarded for their achievements in highest quality of their products and environmental focus strictly maintained during the production process. environmental protection and care was highlighted as a main point developed at the conference showing a progressive development of the region. 

During the conference NIIK had numerous meetings with potential clients and partners. Now, we can definitely say that JSC NIIK has moved its relationships with fertilizer manufacturers of the Gulf region toward a new level.
