In September delegation from JSC NIIK took part in two events: «Intergraph PP&M Russia & CIS» in Gelendzhik and «AVEVA Company day» in Samara
It`s a common knowledge that information technologies allows to increase the capacity, reduces the time of project realization, provides the accuracy and actual status of engineering data over the period of operational lifetime of the industrial object. JSC NIIK uses software system of Bentley Systems Inc company but our specialists are always in touch with the latest news and information about benefits of new developments.The program of «Intergrath» covered the questions related with management and informative maintenance of industrial objects over a period of a life cycle in strict correspondence with methodology and regulations of ISO 15926. The public enjoyed presentations on the following subjects: complex engineering, supply chain management, planning and construction management, design and building, construction and exploitation of nonstop units, power engineering facilities and other infrastructural objects.
The roundtable event was focused on the needs of capital construction projects; thus a virtual environment was created and the participants were developing a virtual project in control of corporate information systems and automated 3D engineering technology. The organizers provided a question from the customer? s point of view, the role of design engineer and building organization in this project were also considered.
The most valuable thing this event will provide, in Marina Butenko?s opinion (Software Engineering Department), is exchanging experiences among representatives of innovative companies and lT organizations, introducing and using modern software development solutions. Although the problem is the same – development of a database for Russia and its adaptation to country-specific requirements. Problems, wishes and ideas for software products realization were voiced out and exchanged among conference attendees and developers. Such events will definitely help the process designer to choose the optimal engineering solution focusing on meeting customer requirements.
