After installation and construction works trial start up operations were initiated on June 5 th in a regular operation mode. During the trial urea solution from Agro-Cherepovets complex was fed to the evaporation stage of the new Cherepovetsky azot unit. After evaporation to the required level of concentration urea melt was fed to the tower. The start up was successfully executed and all the units have operated quite satisfactorily. The operational period lasted one hour. The result is a production of the first in the 21 th century commercial- garde urea in a tower designed by JSC NIIK
Putting into operation a new urea production complex will take our relationships with PhosAgro and Cherepovetsky Azot to the next level. The specialists are then to confirm the guarantee figures on urea tower capacity, quality of the final product , urea dust & ammonia emissions from prilling tower as well as energy costs and consumption.
