A bit earlier JSC NIIK has provided the basic and detailed design for the granulation unit under Toyo Engineering Corporation license (Japan)
Active construction work has been performing in the framework of зriority Project for «Gazprom neftekhim Salavat» company since April 2011. As the leader of the project office confirmed in an interview published in «Salavatskii neftekhimik» newspaper the project envisaged participation by almost 400 specialists including NIIKs representatives, performing the field supervision activities. The works were being carried out 24 hours a day.
Up to the present first trial batch of urea was successfully prepared and the working process continues to improve the capacity up to 1400 t urea per day
Granulated urea as a more suitable material has superior handling and storage characteristics when compared with prilled urea. Recent near term prospects show the beginning of granular urea production for export purposes
The developing of the project named «Construction of urea granulation unit» also gives the possibility to change the product range in accordance with market requirements and helps to increase the equipment safety. The unit contains a scrubber , allowing urea and ammonia dust capturing and recycling and leading the way in combating the negative environmental impact.
Field supervision was performed at the construction and start up of the fluidized bed urea granulation unit by JSC NIIK for «Gazprom neftekhim Salavat» company
