The production plant “Korund-Cyan” is going through the next construction stage
R&D Institute of Urea is the general designer for civil works of this project. The contract was signed in May 2010 and the first drawings were issued already in September.Our company is designing 13 buildings out of total 20 buidings the production plant consists of. These are storage units for ammonia and alkali; tanks and fire pump stations, administration and on-site facilities, boiler house and surface water treatment unit.
German companies “Evonik” (licenser) and EPC (equipment supplier) are responsible for the technical part of the project. Specialists of R&D Institute of Urea have several times met with representatives of German companies to define the design limits and aquire initial data for the drawings.
As equipment procurement is scheduled for May the main civil part should be completed as soon as possible. Piling works, grouting of synthesis unit floorings and transformation substation are already done. Our company has finished the main design works and the site of the future production plant gradually looks more and more completed. Engineers of R&D Institute of Urea will issue the last drawings for communication and alarm systems in June.
