NIIK has offered a new energy efficient technology for large-scale urea plants
At the 6 th International Research-to-Practice Conference “Urea 2011” held in Dzerzhinsk on 17-19 May, JSC NIIK (R&D Institute of Urea), Nizhny Novgorod region, Dzerzhinsk has offered its new energy efficient technology for large-scale urea plants as well as case-studies on the products quality improvement developments.
The new concept is based on efficiency improvement due to energy conservation and capacity enhancement, extension of equipment lifetime and environmental friendliness of urea pants.
Also in the conference JSC NIIK and Italian Eurotecnica Contractors and Engineers S.p.A. submitted to the attention of the participants the cooperation backgrounds between the companies in grass-root construction of melamine plants in Russia and FSU countries, as well as methods of integration of a melamine plant with the existing urea plants. According to the agreement a customer will get the optimal service package for the melamine project implementation
Besides, a number of other actual themes were taken up, such as NIIK’s experience in equipment diagnostics, maintenance and repairs, revamps of urea prilling towers, urea and melamine quality improvement, urea-based compound fertilizers production etc.
