June 23, 2011 JSC "NIIK" received a delegation from Honeywell
On June 23, 2011 JSC "NIIK" received a delegation from Honeywell Resins & Chemicals, a division of Honeywell International, a US-based industrial conglomerate listed within the top 200 world’s biggest public companies, according to the Forbes Magazine. While Honeywell is primarily known as a supplier of automation and control systems in Russia, the company also provides products and services to the aerospace, transportation, and specialty materials industries.During the meetings, Honeywell and JSC "NIIK" exchanged information about the focus and capabilities of their organizations, specifically those related to manufacturing of mineral fertilizers. In addition, Honeywell’s delegates toured NIIK’s research and development center where OJSC "NIIK" demonstrated its high-speed drum granulator laboratory unit (HSDG), which allows obtaining granular urea of the highest quality.
Following discussions and meetings, Honeywell and OJSC "NIIK" agreed to explore opportunities towards establishing an alliance in the area of mineral fertilizer technology development.
