In September, 2011 JSC NIIK and JSC NPO «Neksis» Perm have signed a contract for delivery of a high- speed drum granulator for calcium nitrate production.
In September, 2011 JSC NIIK and JSC NPO «Neksis» Perm have signed a contract for delivery of a high- speed drum granulator for calcium nitrate production. Thus, the new project, the fruit of assiduous three year long labor of the specialists of the Institute sprang to life and was pursued for commercial development.A technique of granulating in a high- speed drum granulator (HSDG) is one of the most challenging project , which has began with the bench scales studies in a laboratory drum granulator with continuous action. The particular interest is focused on the production of urea-based fertilizers. But according to the experience the sphere of application can be significantly extended. Further experiments were carried out in a laboratory scale tests for calcium nitrate production. JSC Neksis provided us with raw materials and was completely satisfied with the results.
The contract which envisages a delivery period of 8 months was signed, the production capacity of future plant will reach 10000 tons a year.
