JSC NIIK took second place in the Russian Annual Сontest of Projects performed with the help of Bentley software product in the category «Innovations in designing, modeling, analysis and exploitation of buildings and constructions»
Taking part in this competition is the best opportunity to present the company as a leading innovator applying modern instruments and technologies to solve engineering and design problem. It is also a good way to estimate the amount of work that has been already performed.The project- winners will take part in an international annual competition «Be Inspired Awards», held by Bentley System.
Our project is not an abstract model designed especially for the competition which needs to be verified for operational feasibility. JSC NIIK has developed the real project for the real customer, it will be the engineering structures for the urea evaporation unit, more particularly stack assembly 589-1 in the melamine manufacturing complex in Nevinomisk.
The submitted material does not show individual work but the real example of the complex projecting from the moment of calculation to the drawing release. For each stage the specific component of Bentley software is used: for example for structural analysis it is ING + complex with the application of «MicroFe», «Gen3dim»; for foundation analysis - «Project Studio CS R4.6» (AutoCAD2008 configuration); for the 3– dimension model performance – «BENTLEY ProSteel3D R18.0» ( AutoCAD2008 configuration).
