The customer in this case is presented by JSC «Ammonii», the foreign general contractor, representing the consortium of Japanese companies including Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), Sojitz Corporation and China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation (CNCEC).
The president of the republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in Russia Tikahito Sarada, Deputy Chairman at the State Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs («Vnesheconombank») Anatoly BALLO as well as all responsible executives took part in the ceremony.
Construction work officially started on October, 12, the preliminary procedures for the project such as design engineering, business plan preparation, project financial schemes determination has been undertaken since 2008. The completion is scheduled to the end of 2014. The beginning of operation activities is planned by the first quarter of 2015, the design capacity of the new plant will be achieved by the 4 th quarter of 2015.
