AFA Forum is the key meeting point for the high level decision makers from the largest fertilizer companies. NIIK delegates regularly attend the AFA events in order to maintain the existing relations with the Clients and connect with new partners. Negotiations influence the decision to implement solution and utilize NIIK services in order to improve the efficiency and capacity of the existing urea plants in the Middle East. Revamps, rehabilitation and debottlenecking are in the key focus as many of the solutions have been tested and proved their reliability for the benefit of our clients.
New issues of the Arab Fertilizer and International Fertilizer magazines were distributed during the conference. The former published the article by Alexander Chirkov, Head of Corrosion, Diagnostics and Repairs department, covering repair methods for HP equipment. The latter provided NIIK insight on Energy Efficiency of urea plants. The article was prepared by Mr. Rinat Anderzhanov, deputy technical director for innovations. Interest from the largest and well-known magazines in fertilizer industry towards our knowledge shows the recognition of NIIK expertise on the international scale.
R&D Institute of Urea (NIIK) delegates attended 20th AFA International Fertilizer Forum
R&D Institute of Urea (NIIK) delegates Alexander Prokopev, Chief process engineer, Rinat Anderzhanov, Deputy technical director for innovations, and Danil Safonov, International Affairs Manager, attended 20th AFA International Fertilizer Forum held February 24-27, 2014 in Sharm-El-Shekh, Egypt. The Forum was dedicated to the results that were achieved during 10 years of Mr. Shafik Ashkar being the Secretary General of AFA (since2004 till 2014). Dr. Shafik Ashkar increased the number of members and succeeded in expanding AFA international presence. In close cooperation with IFA a number of valuable programs have been implemented to help both the producers and the farmers.
