Negotiations with the main producers of urea in India proceeded on a wide variety of issues. Сonsidering the expected benefits of a new subsidy policy (NBS regime), the common tendency to produce complex fertilizers «made to order» especially for specific soil conditions and the strategic interest of farmers to use micro-element composite fertilizer the relative emphasis was done to the advancement of high speed drum granulator technology designed by JSC NIIK for super granules and other urea-based fertilizers manufacturing.
Besides that the urea production sites were mostly commissioned in the 80-90 th and the great part of them needs revamping. The conceptions of the revamping excited the great interest among urea producers. Our welding and corrosion department was not overlooked too- there is a great number of local companies offering revamp services but some technologies in the field of corrosion inspections and HP equipment repairing and cleaning are unique and has no equals in the Indian market. Some requests for the equipment revamping were already submitted.
During the seminar a range of important negotiations were performed concerning the question of our future cooperation both in the local market and abroad.
The results of the participation of our delegation in a FAI annual seminar would be a full range of meetings and visits planned for January- February 2012.
