The authority package for the new unit will be developed based on Chemoproject Nitrogen (Czech Republic) project data; urea and granulation technology will be licensed from Stamicarbon (the Netherlands). Chemoproject Nitrogen documentation will be adjusted to Russian norms and regulations. The scope of NIIK services involves adaptation of foreign technology to local conditions, integration of production plant to utilities infrastructure, providing storage and handling facilities.
The finished project will be reviewed by GlavGosExpertise. According to the agreement the work will be performed within 7 months upon submitting basic design.
Detail design is being developed for construction of a new urea storage facility, urea formaldehyde concentrate receiving&storage unit, continuous handling unit, loading unit and infrastructure facilities.
Besides, NIIK is executing a modernization program for existing urea facilities. Development of detailed design for urea production plant (section № 1) technical modernization aimed at process stabilization at design load is in progress. CO2 cooling unit is being designed for compressor. An additional building for high pressure pump station is designed for stand-by urea and ammonia pumps. The project will be 3D modeled. Detailed design for urea production plant (section №2) technical modernization with capacity increase to 1650 TPD is being developed.
NIIK will develop basic and detailed design for the new urea granulation unit with capacity 1500 TPD for PhosAgro-Cherepovets.
